With running virtual and physical events slowly starting to emerge in the US, we’ve highlighted the best 4 virtual events that are getting the Runderwear team excited. Like most of you, we can't wait to get back out there running in events when it's safe to do so, but these virtual events look like a positive step forwards. Remember that these events help support the race organisers and ensure that they can come back as physical events in 2022.
1. Bloomsday Worldwide Virtual Race - 12k - April 30 - May 9, 2021
Support this historic race, that dates back to 1977 and now ranks as one of the fifth largest US running events each year. Mirroring the 2020 event, 2021 is to be run virtually and gives you the flexibility to run your own 12k route anywhere in the world to earn your 2021 finisher shirt.

2. 2021 Virtual #IndiMini - Half Marathon & 5k - May 8 - 23, 2021
Rated as one of the best half marathon's around this event has gone virtual for 2021. This year is 45th running and all virtual participants get a package full of the usual running swag, plus a discount to enter the 2022 event when it returns.

3. 2021 Virtual Soldier Field 10 Mile - May 23, 2021
This virtual 10 mile event is perfect for anyone training for a half or building up to the full marathon distance. Taking part on Memorial Day weekend this event is usually located in Chicago, but is a virtual event for 2021 giving you the chance to create your own 10 mile route.

4. BolderBoulder - 10k in 6 Locations - May 29 - 31, 2021
Taking part in multiple locations across the US over the Memorial Day Weekend for 2021. Whilst not being able to run this event in a single location, this gives you a chance to run a marked, measured course and publish your time against other runners across the US.
