Customer Reviews
Was prompted to write after MJ's review, as I also had the same experience with the rubber grip, and i have never been allergic to any substance in my life! Happened only after a very short time. Was forced to chop off the silicone strips so i could use the boxers, which was obviously disappointing... maybe you should look at that rather than just recommend buying a pair without the strips
Hey John,
Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that you are allergic to the silicone gripper on the Boxer. These boxers are a favourite for so many so we are sorry to hear this, The Silicone acts as a barrier to stop the Boxers from riding up when running. We always like to suggest another style as if you don't get along with the Boxers then you may love the Briefs if you still want that same support and comfort when exercising.
Any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Not a suitable undergarment for me. The rubber grip around the lower of the boxer causes a skin reaction. Otherwise seem pretty nice.
Hey Michael.
Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that you are allergic to the silicone bands on the Boxers. It may be that the Briefs would be more suitable. We are pleased to hear that you had no hassle with your order.
I've been making the switch to merino underwear, and being a runner I figured a pair from a company directly marketed to runners would be a slam dunk. Everything about these is just a little off, though. Like others have said, they are not smooth and soft; the inside is textured and I think feels a bit stuffy in warm weather. I'm not sure what they think the definition of "seamless" is, but there seem to be plenty of seams that could rub, to me. The front is completely flat (i.e. no "pouch"), which leaves my man bits feeling uncomfortably squished all the time.
If I hadn't gotten these on sale + coupon, I would have returned them. I'll stick with more comfortable garments from competitors (Smartwool, Icebreaker, even Tracksmith).
Thank you for your feedback, I am really sorry to hear that you are not getting along with the Merino briefs and do not like the feel of these on. These are a favourite for many, I will pop you over an email and hopefully we can help and see if another style would be more suitable.
This pair of running boxers were far less comfortable than I expected. Given the hype, and rave reviews from some users, I really expected a lot — maybe too much. But the truth is, these don’t feel comfortable on me. In particular, I don’t like the texture of the material (kinda rough/grainy), and they rubbed something awful even on just a short (15km) run. I do not understand why the inside is textured! Smooth merino would be better. Also, the weird rubber band around the inside leg (presumably to stop the garment riding up one’s leg?) was very uncomfortable, digging into my thigh. For the high price point, there are better options available.
Hey Jacob,
Thanks for your feedback, I am really sorry to hear that you are not getting along with your Merino Boxers. I am sorry to hear that you did not get along with the Silicone bands at the bottom of the underwear. I will pop you an email and we can talk about other styles that may be suitable
